Welcome to the Mountains High Motorhome Hire website. We are a small family run business based in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, only 20 minutes West of the M6, Penrith. Being in the Lakes makes us perfectly situated for you to explore our lovely mountains and valleys. If you are on an extended trip you may choose to venture into the Scottish Highlands and escape from it all.
You are possibly going to have many a full day in the hills or boating on the lakes and what better welcome home than 'home' being right in the thick of it! Take your boots off put the kettle on and put your feet up.
When we established ‘Mountains High Motorhome Hire’ we decided to offer motorhome hire differently, the way it ought to be to done to ensure you have the most relaxing break possible - you have worked hard for it! For example you will be shown the 'ins' and 'outs' of living in a camper,load up, sign the paperwork and drive away with a fully fuelled vehicle and a personal certificate of insurance. All our motorhome rentals are suitable for couples, families and/or friends. Hopefully there is something for everyone.
The Motorhome rental season is not restricted to a holiday in Summer as all our camper vans have heating so are available all year round with low/mid season weekend/midweek availability and 7 night bookings in high season.
